SID-C overvoltage protection magazine
The SID overvoltage protection magazines are designed for the 8/10 pair SID-C modules for use in telecommunications circuits.
Earthing of the overvoltage protection magazine is achieved through the magazine to the back-mount (backmount earth connection). It must be earthed according to the country regulations.
The magazine is inserted into the test access contacts. Standard surge arresters are used in the magazines. If necessary fail-safe devices can also be inserted. Dust covers can also be used with
magazines installed.
